(Scene begins. The cave is dark and the camera focuses on a dimly lit wall upon with the shadows of wooden puppets appear flashing across the walls. Cut to the face of a chained person with no will but to watch the puppets move. Cut back and forth then add in an over the shoulder shot of a mysterious cloaked man with a key walking over to him. He unshackles him and turns him in the direction of the fire which has been the source of light for the puppet show).
Cloaked Man (whispering): Brother, watch the light. Embrace it. Now let's walk over to the exit. (They walk over how ever the man he is helping is showing great resistance, not wanting to leave the cave). Just a little bit more. (As they began to exit we see puppeteers who are dressed in similar cloaks. One in white and one in red take notice but show no concern and continue to give orders as to what the show should show. They then exit the cave as the man grimaces in the light and the cloaked man forces him into it further. At first it blinds him how ever his eyes soon begin to adapt and he looks down upon himself. His hands are wretched and broken.)
Cloaked Man: Don't worry brother, this happens to all of us.
Man: Where, where am I? Why do I look like this?
Cloaked Man: Sssh. Those questions will be answered when we reach the commune.
Man: The commune? What commune? Oh my god no- your not bringing me to a cult!
Cloaked Man: No, I'm bringing you to reality.
Man: Reality? Wha-what do you mean?
Cloaked Man: Brother, you shall see in a moment. (They begin walking on a road which seems to be reflective. The man has a harder time walking then the cloaked man who is assisting him. They continue walking until a tower of light appears on the horizon. The man is scared).
Cloaked Man: Don't worry, many feel this way when they see the spirals of reality on the horizon.
Man: Ok, I guess I'll go with it for now.
Cloaked Man: Can you see any better.
Man: A bit.
Cloaked Man: Good, it is time.
Man: For what?
Cloaked Man: To see yourself. (He holds a mirror to the man's face. What is seen is a bit decrepit and old. To put it frankly he is ugly. A shock appears along his face).
Man: But this is not me! I am James Cassidy! This is not my face!
Cloaked Man: This is why your kind must be liberated.
James: Ok, stop with your bullshit! First you drag me out of my home into this-this place! (Cue a flashback of him being dragged out of his home, not a cave, and thrown into a very bright and sunny world). Now, you continue hiding yourself to me! So why don't you tell me, what the hell is reality?
Cloaked Man: Reality is this. (The man takes off his cloak to reveal a young women. She is shining in a similar light, but less intense. The way this light is shining she becomes extremely beautiful with her eyes and hair being brought out to a massive extent. James has a serious WTF look on his elderly face).
Woman: Reality can be bit of a...mind screw.
James: I can tell.
Woman: I will tell you this much. Where you existed was a prison and when you can see reality for what it truly is, you will see the cave for what it truly is and what it's truly been this entire time.
James: Is this cave, an actual cave?
Woman: Yes, all things in it are controlled by the puppeteers, a group of select few who see reality for what it is but instead of freeing others possess others with their power of reality.
James: Please, don't give me a philosophy lesson. Let me guess, you're recruiting people to help in your moral war against them so that you can over power them and be all high and moral against the bad guys.
Woman: actually not-
James (walking away): What did I say about the lesson?
Woman: Come back here!
James: What did I say?
Woman: You don't know what you're doing!
James: I know full well
Woman: No, you don't! Now get your ass back here.
James (from a distance): I can't here you!
Woman (to herself): That went well. (She sits down.)
